BGSD Invitational Tournament
2010 Home Run Derby
Jason St. Clair defeated the defending champ, Aaron Krieger in the finals by hitting 7 home runs. St. Clair's 7 in the final round was a particularly remarkable number, as home runs were few to come by in the contest. Some say that the batters were over swinging, others say that the balls were dead. Whatever the reason, it allowed Krieger to reach the final round after only hitting 2 out in his first round. Although Krieger led the tournament in home runs, St. Clair got the best of him in the Home Run Derby, prolonging the streak of no single player winning the Home Run Derby multiple times. For his victory, St. Clair received a trophy and the $100 prize.
2010 Golden Arm Contest
As a late addition to the contest, Mike Elliot took advantage of going near the end by scoring a 23 in Round 1, tying him with Rich Ranells and securing him a spot in the finals. Jordan Vahcic, the leader after Round 1, led off Round 2. However, his impressive opening round of 24 was neutralized after scoring only 4 points in final round. Ranells threw second in Round 2, and looked to be in great shape after scoring a solid 15 points. Nevertheless, Elliot came back hard with 10-points and 6-points on his first two throw, clinching him the victory before even throwing his final three tosses. For his performance, Elliot won the third annual Golden Arm trophy and a $75 prize.

2010 "Mike Lemponen Fastest Man" Contest
Mike Lemponen defended his title as "The Fastest Man" in this year's "Mike Lemponen Fastest Man" Contest. Lemponen was tested, however, as more contestants joined this year's competition than last year's. Nevertheless, Lemponen did not disappoint his exuberant fans, who came in droves, as he comfortably defeated the worthy competition that included Ricky Nerone and Keith Haas. For the win, Lemponen received a trophy, $50, and naming rights for next year's contest.
