Benander Games
In 1973, Vincent A. Benander, weilding a hammer,
saw and nails, built the first prototype of a new style of board
game that would both evolve and spawn several other games in the
coming years. Ricochet Penny Basketball was available in
Cleveland area stores that year and was a huge hit. Shortly afterward,
he developed Ricochet Bowling and the immensely popular ZENN,
a game whose appeal continued into the decades to come. In 1995
an improved model was put into production and released, followed
by a television commercial which was seen in the Cleveland area
in 1996. ZENN games are still being sold today and the game remains
popular with students and adults alike. Learn

Sports Data
Vince Benander began his computer stats business in 1981 beginning
with five Cleveland area communities. Local demand for the stats
increased and more and more leagues signed on to receive comprehensive
weekly stats for their softball and hardball leagues. Soon, BGSD
expanded to other sports, adding basketball, then football and hockey
in 1996. In 1997 the company added free-of-charge access to all
league stats at their new web site www.bgsd.com, which was redesigned
in 2000 and again in 2004. In all, thousands of athletes from New
York to California have enjoyed BGSD's stats and services.
