Mitch Lake of Firehouse/WIFI Irrigation in the Mayfield Village Men's league has four-peated as the BGSD Player of the Year. Over the course of the season, Lake led his team to the #3 BGSD Team Ranking (just missing out on 3-peating as BGSD Top Team) and put up these incredible numbers:

- 24 GP/.826 BA/37 HR/94 RBI/73 R/19 BB/2.221 SLG

Lake is the FIRST 4-time winner, and remains the only person outside of Aaron Krieger to have won the award since 2018.

Marshall Carpet is BGSD Team of the Year!

Marshall Carpet (22-2) of the Euclid M/W D1 Men's League has earned the title of BGSD Team of the Year in 2025. Marshall led their league with an average of 17.8 runs per game and a team batting average of .594. Before losing their final two (meaningless) games of the regular season, Marshall was an even more impressive 13-0 winning streak to start off the rough regular season in Euclid, Marshall held off the two-time reigning BGSD Team of the Year Firehouse of Mayfield Village (which is comprised largely of the same players as Marshall) in the closest final BGSD rankings since 2012.
