Mitch Lake is Crowned 2022 BGSD Player of the Year!

Mitch Lake of Firehouse in the Competitive Mayfield Village Men's league has won the BGSD Player of the Year Chase.
After going 48/48 in his first 14 games, Lake never relinquished his top spot. Overall, in games 24 games played, Lake amassed the following astounding totals:
- .892 BA/35 HR/99 RBI/71 R/16 BB
Lake edged out fellow leaguemate and BGSD #2 POTW, Aaron Krieger, who had been the POTW for the past three consecutive years ('19-'21).

FireHouse/WiFi Irrigation of MV is BGSD Top Team in 2022!

Firehouse/WiFi Irrigation (26-2) of the Mayfield Village Men's League has earned the title of 2022 BGSD Team of the Year.
FireHouse had a dominating season by outscoring their opponents by an average of 11.54 runs per game in the highly competitive Mayfield Village league (run-spread in MV is 10 runs by the way) . FireHouse averaged 20.61 runs per game and had a team batting average of .631. Their only two losses came at the hands of BGSD #2-ranked team, AMCO/Barille.
