Mitch Lake of Firehouse/WIFI Irrigation in the Mayfield Village Men's league has four-peated as the BGSD Player of the Year. Over the course of the season, Lake led his team to the #3 BGSD Team Ranking and put up these incredible numbers:

- 24 GP/.826 BA/37 HR/94 RBI/73 R/19 BB/2.221 SLG

Lake is the FIRST 4-time winner, and remains the only person outside of Aaron Krieger to have won the award since 2018.

Marshall Carpet is BGSD Team of the Year!

Marshall Carpet (22-2) of the Euclid M/W D1 Men's League has repeated as the BGSD Team of the Year in 2025. Marshall led their league with an average of 17.9 runs per game and a team batting average of .594. The season was destined for success when Marshall started off with an impressive 13-game winning streak. After a brief 1-2 skid, Marshall closed out the season with an 8-game winning streak. Marshall finished its season with a clutch comeback in the best-of-five championship (after being down 2-1 in the series) vs. #11 Collision Bend.
